Equity Statement
Climate change has evolved from being just an environmental issue. Our understanding is that climate-related challenges are geo-social. eqn™ understands that the root cause of climate change is a highly complex issue and that just and equitable solutions cannot be found if we proceed with the climate science and policy lens alone. We must take a comprehensive perspective of climate change impacts and solutions if we are to reach our goal and create the planet we want to live in. We are committed to championing the cause and pursue climate adaptation and mitigation activities to reduce disparities – economic, intergenerational, social, and racial disparities, and working closely with partners who understand this interface.
Our Logo Story
‘eqn™’ is a combination of two words ‘Equity’ and ‘Next’, representing inter-generational equity. All our thoughts and actions have an underlying tone of working towards equity for current and future generations.
The letters, ‘eqn™’ in white, nestled within the ever-buoyant green Earth below and the ever-vibrant blue sky above, evoke a sense of hope and optimism to achieve what EquiNext has set out to do.
